Some major stores offer better prices online and if you’re lucky, they’ll also offer cheap or free shipping if you order from their website. Other websites offer great prices because they don’t have a store front and don’t have the major overhead that big stores do. Most of them don’t even carry stock, everything is shipped directly from the manufacturer to you. End of Season! One of the best times of the year to buy discount camping gear is at the end of the season. Going Out Of Business! Times are tough and it’s horrible to see so many businesses shut down but there’s great saves for consumers when they do. Items can go for 50-80% off! Newspapers usually advertise businesses closing so keep your eyes open.
